Looking for Ginger North

Handsome late 70's male perm hairstyle and all denim wear.  Lots of stars of the day rocked that look as a sign of machismo while staying pretty and hip as a counter to the flashy and flamboyant disco alternative.  No wonder the lady is all over him.  You'd never figure the book was set around a horse racetrack.      

I could've sworn you were going to head towards the Peter North and Ginger Lynn direction, but maybe that is just my twisted mind.
