Joe Giella RIP

At the 2019 Heroes Con in Charlotte, my friend Aaron Sultan and I had the pleasure of having dinner with Joe Giella, his family, and friends. It was a great time of food and friendship and I treasure the memory. Joe was not only an exceptional artist, who put everything into his work and whose classic style I loved, but he was also an exceptional person and I felt blessed to have known him. He was the epitome of the Greatest Generation and will be sorely missed. My sincere condolences to his family and thanks to Joe for all the joy his art brought into my life and so many others.
