Description

So another story of how I ended up with this page and another page from this issue.

I was killing time one night and looked at Comic Connect auction that was ending that day. I target the Challengers of the Unknown by Michael Netzer and started scrolling thru the rest of the auction (mistake). Saw a Tony DeZ Black Orchid page and took a shot at that page but went higher then I felt like going.

Then I stumbled on two Nick Fury pages being sold together - always loved Nick Fury Agent of Shield and I am still hopeful the AE Volume 2 will show up one day (lol).

The page have Keith Pollard on breakdowns and Kim DeMulder on finishes - both artist I always enjoyed and in fact I credit DeMulder with helping some artists who did great page layouts and story telling but whose art was too static for me look better. I think DeMulder and Perlin were better then Perlin alone. Not the case with Pollard but still a great pairing.

It was advertised as 10 x 15 Image area, but in fact are both the old twice up pages, a great bonus.

So I bid and was conservative not worried it I won, and I won.

The two pages revolve around new romances of Nick and Val - who know Nick Fury Agent of Shield was part love story. Love the lower left bottom panel. The middle panel looks exactly like Val -but hey maybe Nick had a type.
