Description

Ever since I was a lad of 12 years and picked up DC Limited Collectors Edition C-44, I became enamored with the iconic cover.

Designed by Carmine Infantino and painted by the mysterious Wally Fax, it became for a generation the definitive version of the character.

The original art hung in the DC offices for years and purchasing it was impossible. As the years piled on I searched for just the right artist to re-create the image. I hope you agree that I found the right one in the incredible John Watson.

Painted in oils with dimensions of 19 x 13, it's simply SPECTACULAR!

Next to the Infantino and Anderson's Batman & Robin on the rooftop this is the next piece I would love to own. Beautifully done.
