Beautifully drawn and beautifully inked!
kick ass Batman page by one of the best duos to do it! congrats
"And after a QUICK SCAN of Jason's amateur dossier" Great page H squared! :)
Impressive page!
Jason Todd aka 'Little Scamp!'
Beautiful page!
love Don's run on the Batman.
Love the smoothness of the art. Has a silky quality about it and just beautiful! Congrats!!
Another beautiful Newton/Alcala page Hal. Congrats!
Another great Bat-Newton page
Lots of care and skill went into this page. Although not a key issue, these Batman comics within these issue nubers are always hard to find at the comic store as readers recognize the high quality of work within.
I've seen some gorgeously-inked Newton/Alcala pages, but this one stands out.
Congrats on another Newton piece! Especially one where Batman refers to someone as a "little scamp." That's not something I see the modern Batman doing, which is a weakness of today's comics.
LOVE Don Newton! This is GORGEOUS!
Newton & Alcala: The Dynamic Duo. Great page!
Superb page, Hal. This is a fantastic example of how a "talking page" can easily pack the punch of an action page. Beautiful character renderings in every panel; I was going to play it cool and say the first panel was my favorite, but come on - that third panel is pure gold. A gripping and sensational Batman page, Hal! Congrats!
Absolutely stunning Batman page! Gorgeous work by Newton & Alcala that highlights Alfred's relationship with the Dark Knight. Especially love Alcala's inks here!
Great pacing from top to bottom, and LOVE that last head shot panel. Some truly sublime inks from Alcala! Congrats, Hobby!
My favorite era for Batman visually - this is a stunning page. Major congrats HH!
Great page, Alcala really sets the mood with his inks.
Many congrats on this wonderful piece by the late great Don Newton. Alcala inks are always distinctive and lush, and complement ideally Don's pencils on this page.
I really dig these night time pages and the figures are nicely rendered too,Congrats !
Spendid page from Batman 364 by the outstanding team of Don Newton and Alfredo Alcala. I love this scene of Batman and Alfred meeting on the rooftop. Powerful layout by Newton, whose use of the rooftop meeting place showed Batman as a creature of the night. And stunning inks by Alcala with strong linework and lots of crosshatching. Great pick-up, congrats.
Every panel is killer, sweet page!!
