The adjective-less X-men became The Amazing X-Men in the Age of Apocalypse, and this was the first issue.

Andy Kubert and Matt Ryan set the stage with wonderful images of Magneto leading a redesigned set of X-men including a personal favorite of mine, Exodus. You see the different uniforms, the ramshackle mansion, Bishop brooding throughout, Nanny….all key aspects of one of the most beloved X-Men stories of the 1990’s.
