In another universe, this would have lead to Mad Dog War Journal, Mad Dog War Zone, Mad Dog Armory and a multi-issue storyline where Mad Dog is turned into a Frankenstein monster.

Super fun looking cover! Others perhaps may not, but I especially like the fact that Frenz played fast and loose with the homage, because it still immediately evokes a memory of the ASM #129 cover, but without slavishly drawing the figures in the same poses as on that cover.

Sweet cover with the veteran team that could properly pull off the homage without trying to be all edgy and showy.  It's a classic cover and deserves this authentic approach.

You know, I do believe this -is- the first time I've ever seen the character of Mad Dog... so the first appearance cover keeps delivering!! :) And, wow  - that dude's got it going on; those boot treads, that belt, the camo, the Bluetooth speakers on his thighs to blare his tunes while he's patrolling the streets...  True, I guess his name isn't "Well-adjusted Dog With A Winning Fashion Sense", but that's... a lot.  Still!  An ASM 129 treatment for your first appearance ain't nothin'!  Really fun cover, Paul!  Congrats!

Mad Dog! Ruff. I really love a lot of the art from this series, and this cover is a great call back to their older style. And I'll always sign onto a Punisher homage. Excellent cover, Paul! THWPPT

What a cover. The name takes me back to a video game from my youth. Mad Dog McCree. It was a class act.
