Jigsaw puzzle artwork - UK - 1960s

Original artwork for a British jigsaw puzzle, published by Philmar sometime in the 1960s. It's a large piece (approx 24.5 x 21 inches) gouache on thick art board. I don't know the artist unfortunately. Lack of detail on some the faces give it an air of strangeness maybe - along with the masonic like 'crown and sceptre' and the man looking back from a shaded doorway on the far right.

It's quite hard to find artwork for jigsaws, at least in the UK. I think this might be partly because people often don't realise what they are when they have them.
