A very nice welcome for him with a bevy of beauties who all want to grab onto him! Color work is sensational for the costume to be blue while underwater.

PREVIOUSLY I HAD THE OCCASION TO TELL MY OPINION ABOUT THE PHANTOM-COVERS...
THE GERMAN ZAUBERSTERN COMICS IS DOING A GOOD JOB REGARDING THE PH-COVERS !!! UNTILL NOW ALL THE ISSUES I SAW HAVE GOOD COVERS !!!

"A GOOD AND BEAUTIFUL COMIC COVER HELPS THE BOOK TO SELL MORE"
Is simple and clear, unfortunately don't all the art directors are able to understand this .

The German Phantom covers have been very good and having this published in the series takes the standard even higher. Wonderful to see this masterpiece cover and episode reprinted.

I don't have in my collection this comic book, and really don't know what other Ph-episodes contains and their level of Artwork, but "The Mermaids of Melo Strait is a REALLY masterpiece (NEVER SURPASSED) that ONLY the Number One was able to do, and the cover taken from the Intro page of the story is very explosive !

"The Mermaids of Melo Straits" is absolutely a masterpiece episode. One of the very best, with every page perfect.
