Wonderful! So well composed. To get Ant-Man on there is a definite bonus. The Hulk pose is classic and the inks are sumptuous. Great cover!

If Hell is a very small Hulk, what does a very LARGE Hulk equate to?  I don't wanna be around to find out!  Excellent cover, Bill!  I don't know of any other Hulk cover that features a miniaturized Green Goliath, and the team-up with Ant-Man makes it super unique too.  And of course beautifully drawn by this amazing artistic team.  That huge rat is terrifying!!  Major congrats on another stellar addition!

Isn't it cool seeing the hulking Hulk this tiny?!  A dynamic composition from Trimpe, and a cover that definitely wants to make you pick up the book to see what's up inside!  Congrats!

I have weird love/hate relationship with these 20¢ Bronze Age covers.  I was never a fan of how much space those huge logos took up.  At the same time, this period represents my favorite comic reading years.  Many of my all time favorite single issues, story arcs, and art/story runs, are from the magical 20¢ era.  A Trimpe Hulk has been on my wishlist for a while, but alas I think I waited too long to make it happen.  Congrats on this incredible example from two Marvel Bullpen greats.

Wonderful cover, such a perfect image that captures the magic of the bronze age so well. I love the shrunken Hulk theme that was revisited later in Hulk lore, as well as the Herb Trimpe drawn Godzilla issue where Big G is shrunken to take on sewer rats later in the 80s. Massive congrats on adding this bronze age beauty! 

The cover makes great use of that 70's box style by breaking out of its confines to show how action is done!  Hulk shrunk down was used in comics and the strip.  Making Hulk the underdog made him more endearing to us!

INCREDIBLE page! Love that it's Antman to the rescue here. Such a unique piece to have Hulk being humbled by Rats. Congrats on another amazing addition!

Very cool cover. I never read this issue but I'm guessing a shrunken down Hulk was still more than a match for a rat and Ant Man.  Nice addition!

I'm a very big admirer of John Severin's Cracked work and consequently I love his Incredible Hulk inks!  A great cover featuring a giant rat!  Now where's Godzilla in this place?

As improbable as it may seem, the team-up of Ant-Man with the Hulk was a formidable combination indeed! But, then, both are bona fide founding members of the Avengers! And, also both, when they're not super-heroing, are scientists with an agenda and a troubled life... Art-wise, it is certainly no coïncidence that, at the same exact period, Herb Trimpe was also depicting a reboot of Ant-Man in Marvel Feature (a short-lived attempt, but a nice one, nonetheless...). 

I feel like I'm 12 years old again, looking at this cover! Love Severin's inks! Great pick up, Bill, congrats!

This brings me back to the days I was still buying comics off the spinner rack ! What a blast it was to pick up a new Hulk book every month along with the rest of the other Marvel titles I collected back in the day ! A Wonderul add to your excellent collection Bill,congrats !

Love it!  Trimpe at his best.  Having grown up in the era when this was published, it immediately reminds me of reading comics in bed as a kid, when an issue like this (Hulk getting shrunk and fighting rats) would spark my imagination.  Such joy. 

Congratulations on this latest acquisition, Bill, it's certainly an early Bronz Age favourite! This is one of the earliest "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" comic covers I ever laid eyes on, and as the Hulk was a beloved character, this was always a favourite of mine. I also think that Trimpe never looked as good as when inked with the gritty textures of John Severin.

Classic Bronze age action by Trimpe, this cover really wants me to go read the comic, which I will do now! Congrats!

What an image! For me, Herb and John were THE Hulk artists, never bettered even 50 years on.

SO good!!! I had this cover many years ago and Severin's detailed inks are just beautiful and always loved the Hulk's pose- such a great cover right down to the Stanley matches!!!

What a great cover! A combination of two titanic talents! Herb Trimpe is the definitive Hulk artist of the 1970s.  Combine him with the great John Severin on inks and you get this masterpiece!  Congratulations!

Wonderful example from Stan's 14-month "picture frame" cover experiment from the 20¢ era! Trimpe/Severin don't get mentioned much when comics' great artist pairings are extolled, but I think they might be the peak Hulk artistic team... to me, at least! Congrats on a great pick-up!

Curse Hydra and their trained, plague-infested rats!  (Those are harder to train than you may think!)  Beautiful, classic rendition of ol' Green Genes (in that indelible Trimpe style), and John's inks add serious depth and some lovely grit and tooth to all involved (the rat and pencil look fantastic)!  Love the white space that's left around Hulk's figure to pop him out and make sure he's never lost in the image: masterclass technique.  The logo and trade dress make this one spring to life, though; it looks -SO- fantastic.  Always a big event when you can add a prime Trimpe to the gallery, Bill!  Huge congrats here - wow!
