Description

Joe Mad! and Tom McW! This hangs on my wall, archival matted and framed behind UV protected glass.

The series is back. I hear issue 10 picks up right at 9's cliffhanger as though it was just a month ago we had issue 9 and not nearly 22 years ago!

This cover is one of my all-time favorite pieces of artwork. I have a heck of a time getting scans under glass. I think this is a decent view of it. This popped up on eBay directly from Tom McWeeney back then. I think he sold a number of amazing pieces on eBay in those days. Days when eBay was filled with great artwork, few scammers and barely any flipping (I think).

Amazing contrast and pose, and such a nice example of Mad's unmistakeable style. I've never really read much Battlechasers but now I may have to check it out.

Cliffhanger is their imprint and motto, so no surprise they left people hanging over delays in getting issues out. It made published art from Joe Mad extra hard to acquire with limited supply for one of the hottest artists of the day.

This is an amazing cover, so it's not hard to see why it's one of your favorites. Joe's known for his dynamic action scenes, but his ability to draw dramatic moments is just as fantastic, as seen here. Congrats, and thanks for sharing this!
