DescriptionOriginal concept art by James Brodero used in the making of Fantasia. Image size 5.5"x 7" on 12-field 5-peghole animation sheet in 21"x 19" frame. "The faun silently slipped up behind the unicorn and jumped up on his back, grabbing his horn and holding on tight. The unicorn bellowed and bucked, tossing the faun into some briars." Published in "Pastoral from Walt Disney's Fantasia", Harper and Brothers, New York, 1940. ALSO found on the dust jacket and inside of "The Pastorale Symphony from Walt Disney's Fantasia." Published by D. Davis and Company Pty. Ltd. Sidney, 1940. Again it is published in "The Art of Animation" by Bob Thomas, Simon and Schuster, 1958, p84. Last to mention at the moment is "Fantasia", by Deems Taylor, Simon and Schuster, 1940, p103.Social/Sharing |
