Choose Your Own Adventure books were so much fun. There was a period of time when I was a kid where I didn't like reading books that didn't offer options. Congrats on the great pickup!
It was all the rage in the mid 80's and one part of our childhoods that should be discussed more when they talk about that decade. They probably don't do it because there's not commercial brand behind it and it's still a genre of books today. This is helped out by the cool ninja theme that was also popular in the 80's.
