Meanwhile in the second story of the issue Cyborg Superman hunts and eliminates members of the El family.

Rafa does an amazing job on this cover with his mixtures of ink washes and brush strokes to create the two different styles of background for this piece. I wish the colorist had done more to differentiate the two backgrounds on the published cover.

Agreed. The distinctive styles between top and bottom set the context for the hero/villain contrast. Really nice plus Cyborg Superman! 😀
