CONAN THE BARBARIAN

This is an interesting piece. A pencil sketch by Al Milgrom of Conan The Barbarian. Milgrom is known for his work as an Inker. But I believe he has some Penciler credits as well. I got this piece through an Art Dealer. The piece was done in 1977, about a decade before I was born lol. Now I don't know what the original color of the paper was. It does have a brownish color. There doesn't seem to be any signs due to aging so maybe that was the original color. I couldn't think of a better pose for a Torso piece. The Axe literally coming out at you. I am curious if Milgrom pencil work has changed over time. I had him ink a scan of this which he was excited to do.
