Description

I took along my copy of Danger Street #3 Fradon Variant (already signed by Ramona) to have Tom King & Doc Shaner add their signatures to it at Baltimore Comic Con this past weekend. When I got to their booth, I saw that Doc was doing “Remarques,” I saw him working on a Wildfire and made the quick decision to also get one. Given that Doc inked the Fradon cover digitally and that I own the original pencils (also posted in my gallery), it seemed fitting to ask him to draw Metamorpho. I knew it was a great decision when he said “Oh I love drawing Metamorpho!”

I handed him an 11x14 sheet of Bristol and away he went! Had a great conversation with him and his wife about art, kids, & Ramona Fradon while he sketched! Great experience all around!

Very sharp silver age look! All those little marks are giving him that chalky texture on his head.
