What's not to love about Secret Agent Corrigan by the legendary Al Williamson? Spectacular drawing as always and boy, is that some scrumptious Good Girl Art!
Rare to see Corrigan in full cover size and Williamson is easily able to bring the same sense of espionage and adventure through uses of patterns, zip, and illustrative line. Elements like the gun, the smoking hot bikini girl, the handsome hero, and the castle lair setting are essential trappings of the genre.
Never saw this, but boy, is this nice. Al was a graphics master, and the King of Zip-A-Tone (next to Wood, that is).
Great artwork, cool!
Precision Draftsmanship...Luv the Patterns and Design on the Bikini dress!!!
This is great. Wonderful line work.
james Bond ,eat your heart out!
Masterful!
...now that is something!!
Whoa Jeff! This is super cool! Have not seen it before so many thanks for sharing
Congratulations Jeff! Really strong example of the genius of Wlliamson. I really love the foliage above the figures.
Love the work on the textures and patterns here.
(Someone's had access to the Dragon Lady Press archoves recently ;)
Corrigan, Secret Agent Corrigan.
The handwriting in the dedication is art itself, great penmanship. The bikini pattern is stunning. The background with the castle and shrubbery art art the stage for Corrigan and the last. Very nice, congrats!
Very nice Jeff! Did Al draw this more or less same size as printed?
Art is 10.5 x 14. The book is a bit larger format so the art is about 20% bigger than the printed image and the top of the image was cropped on the book.
Love the foliage - even on the Bikini!
Wow. Williamson. Secret Agent Corrigan. Cover. Drop the mike.
