11.25x16.5 bristol board, inks over pencils

The O5 try to take a sandwich break on Monster Island and discover that the local bird/pterodactyl monsters can shoot jets of fire out of their beaks. Oh good. Of course they do.

Roger Cruz has a lot of great monster designs in this story but to be totally honest I just really like sandwiches a lot and liked this page for that reason. Look, art is subjective, okay?? Enjoyment based on the presence of sandwiches is valid.

"The X-Men try to enjoy a sandwich without dying" would be an awesome gallery theme but I guess it would be a little limited in available pages. Not like that's going to stop me from from looking for more though. 🥪

Actually you don't get to see these legends eat much in Ny book. Lol awesome find my friend!

I have to admit if you put up a collection of X-Men and their sandwiches I would definitely tune in. It's unique! Might be a fun idea for commissions to see what you might get.
