Description
I have always wanted a page from This series. I remember how it shocked me as a child. In my opinion this was the best version of The Spectre. A true spirit of vengeance.

Great page from an exceptional run. Aparo at his finest.

Absolutely beautiful work by Aparo. I love how he split the top scene into two panels!

Something that is more common now, proving that he was ahead of his time.

Thank you Shelton, but I think his Spectre work surpassed his Batman

Many consider this stretch Aparo's peak period!  He illustrated here for mood and atmosphere for the mature audience.

Not a real big Aparo fan, but this page is sensational!  The layout and execution is first rate (plus, love the Spectre).

Fantastic hard-boiled page! Aparo gave his best here...

Absolutely fantastic Aparo page, he is in his PRIME. That split panel opener... I've loved this page for ages. Also love when he used white over the ink, I have a page with the same technique. Page well scored!

Thanks Tim. This page and others from this issue got me bidding again on Heritage. Something that I hadn't done seriously in years.

Superb! Aparo evidently loved doing that run, and put in his best work. The range of techiques, the playfulness with the panel in the top tier, the fantastic poses - it is all perfect. Like you, I was shocked when I read these stories as a child. I have been trying to get a page for many years, with no success - so congrats for getting this!

It was one of my goals to get Aparo Spectre pages. Now I just need one with Spectre on it
