Congratulations! As you said, this has so many of the elements you'd want in a Bissette/Totleben ST page AND it integrates all of those elements so well. I can't decide which panel I like the most (panel 2 or panel 5 perhaps)!

Thank you! I too have a hard time picking a favorite panel as I really like them all, but I agree 2 or 5 are big standout but I also have an affinity for the 3rd panel cause of how funny the monkey king looks haha.

There's just no eye candy more sweet than the textures and feathery details that Totleben treats us to with his inking. Nothing compares.

Btw, i couldn't agree more about how fantastic and important the Moore/Bissette/Totleben Swamp Thing run was. Completely inspired me and transformed my view of comics. They didn't all have to be Super Heroes fighting Super Villains! (although that's kinda what's happening here on this page LOL).

Haha yes I agree I loved how this book strayed from the super hero books by delving in the horror, but yes I did get a super-hero esque moment of a page haha.

Just Wow! This is a page that really grips, Bissette and Totleben artwork: top drawer, The incomparable Alan on script, Which all goes to show, in truth, Moore is more. (Cheers for sharing.)

Fantastic page from Saga of Swamp Thing by Bissette and Totleben. What a run fhose two artists had--Mindblowing work filled with strong characterizations and powerful plotlines! Couple that with beautiful pencils and elaborate inks and you have the makings of an epic run! Fabulous pick-up, congrats!
