DescriptionIncluded with the original cover artwork is Jerry Ordway's preliminary cover sketch. The sketch is drawn in pencil and marker on a sheet of copy paper that measures approx. 7" x 9".Jerry usually does a rough pencil and ink preliminary for the covers he pencils and inks. He takes this rough image and copies it onto the bristol board in light blue-line after resizing it to allow for the cover text. Jerry adds some additional pencils and finished inks to produce the finished cover for publication. There are NO additional pencils done on a separate board. Social/Sharing |
