Al Gofa has a style that is a trend in comics that I’m really enjoying the last few years. It is sort of an incorporation of street art into sequential storytelling. Tradd Moore did this with Silver Surfer Black, making this style mainstream, but Gofa totally brings it in every page of this brilliant graphic novel. Dark Angels of Darkness was published by Peow Studios in 2018. “ Fusion is the act in which two elements combine and become something greater than the sum of its parts. It’s beautiful to behold and highly dangerous. It’s also strictly forbidden by the almighty Imperius Rhâââ, the one and only ruler of the Barren Lands. Yet wherever there’s a dictator, there will always be someone to oppose him. Military mastermind Megan, together with a group of elite soldiers, plots to bring the godlike Imperius down on his knees.
