DescriptionGoliath II is a Disney animated short from 1960 about a mouse-sized Asian elephant named Goliath. The short is notable for being a test for the lush jungle backgrounds later used in the 1967 Jungle Book. The elephant is the actual animation cel here, while the jungle background is a color photocopy.This cel was originally sold by the Disney studio at the Disneyland Art Corner in the 1960s. Beautiful line and form in the Disney manner! It looks like a cat's feet instead of elephant feet here, but from the ears to the snout, they really did a great job of simulating the look.
