June Brigman was also a frequent guest at the local, modest-sized conventions staged by a neighbourhood comic book store during the eighties. She skillfully imbued characters she drew with an age-appropriate youthful appearance when the scripts required it. This was very evident in Power Pack, a series she co-created with writer Louise Simonson. Over the years, I would collect a number of pieces from her, though this was the first.
