011 Dave Johnson Flash SDCC 2001

when i talk about my absolute favorite comics of all time one of the first ones i mention is SUPERPATRIOT. everything about that book was just over top fun and Dave's art was a huge part of it for me. after that he mainly did covers and they were always mind blowingly great!! so, i was saving my favorite character for him. i wanted to see what Dave would do with the flash. it is a quick freebie but it means a lot to me. 20 years later i bought a preliminary flash cover from him that he did for some flash book that is way more technically better and what not....but it isn't the sketch he did for a young fan meeting his hero.
