A classic scene reimagined through the Risso lens of crime noir. The tragic scene above has turned into a Batman scene where he's in the depths of hell below. Both shots introduced by a close up, Bruce as a child with tears is mirrored by Batman emerging from the sewers. All cloaked with the dark inks to pinch in and envelop the characters with no chance to escape.

Wonderful analysis, as for the visual storytelling. Furthermore, as for the plot, remembering his own trauma helps Bruce in solving the case. Great page 360*.
