Description
Masuimi Max as Bettie Page ** Olivia De Berardinis. 2003. Signed and dated by artist Olivia and also by Bettie Page.

Mixed media. (Pencil, Ink, Watercolor). Beautiful fun sweet Masuimi face in Olivia's more comic style (John Willie, Eric Stanton, Gene Bilbrew influences). LOVE her. Sadly one of Olivia's favorite muses MASUIMI MAX died at the age of 45 on Jan. 25, 2024. RIP Masuimi!

Board about 10" X 20".
Frame Measures Approximately 14.5" in X 24.5in. Signed and dated lower right Olivia 2003

I don't know if it was ever published, but this is around the time when Olivia really was creating a lot of art for the Bettie Page estate and just prior to creating tons of Logos for the Bettie Page Store in Las Vegas, also where Masuimi Max lived.

Great posture and perfect A gap!  Olivia is showing how timeless the Bettie Page look is and how her sex appeal set the standard for modern pin ups.

Lovely wash piece! I happened to be in Vegas not long after the store opened, they had a nice selection of mechandise and some great paintings on the walls...
