Buckler definitely doing his best to emulate Neal Adams, one of his early mentors.  But Giordano definitely gave Buckler a helping hand.

Pages from this Buckler WF run are highly prized because they are Adams like.  Second and the circle panels are definitely from early Adams Brave and Bold.  The faces and body language are more twisty and exagerated.  Plus the layout and camera angles so so much more experimental and advanced than the rest of the DC titles.  

Thanks Marcus! Yes, I also see a lot of Brave and Bold into this page. I know this is not the most famous part of the Adams/Batman run(s), but I was especially fond of the sometimes improbable pairings (I mean, Batman teaming up with the House of Mistery! Right?) that always delivered. And, with the Challengers of the Unknown in tow, it cannot go wrong, anyway!

Love the panel layout...perfectly done to compliment what's going on IN panel!  And rounded out by a literal round panel :)  Sweet storytelling goodness, top to bottom, Al, congrats!
