These early 1970s Buscema/Chan Conan pages look so nice.  At this point, I have to think John Buscema was doing a bit more than the rough layouts that he later did on the title.  Great pick-up Sean!

Thanks Lee, 100% agree, the later Chan finishes over Buscema layouts where way too heavy handed in Savage Sword. This has a good balance.

That horse stopping on a dime is very dynamic to affect everything else around it!  It even has its tongue out from exhaustion in the same manner of that Conan begins to fade out of the page!
