Karate Kid vs. Midnighter by Luciano Vecchio and Simon Gough

Luciano Vecchio is one of my favorite artists, and I've wanted a "Karate Kid vs." commission from him for quite some time. But Luciano is a digital artist, and I wanted a physical commission. Well, last year Luciano ran a campaign on Zoop for his SERENO book, and one possible add-on for supporting the book was a physical commission! So I backed that as quickly as I could, and then e-mailed� Luciano about this commission idea. Luciano thought this idea would be a fun commission and away we went with Karate Kid vs. Midnighter! Luciano did an excellent job of showing these two highly skilled opponents attacking�and blocking in battle! I then sent this over to Simon Gough to work his magic on it and he made it look even better! Karate Kid pops right out at the viewer (as he should) and Midnighter has so many shades of grey in that outfit! Big thanks to both Luciano and Simon!

Now this would be a fight! Midnighter has cybernetic implants in his head to help him predict his opponent's moves, but computers in the 21st Century are just not prepared for fighting styles from a thousand years in the future! Could the computer in Midnighter's head adapt to Val Armorr's martial arts abilities before Val defeats�him? Who knows? Midnighter is stronger and tougher than Karate Kid, but that's never stopped Karate Kid from winning before!

A great choice for an opponent. I feel the same way about digital, its no substitute for heart and soul poured into a physical piece Enjoy
