Yeah, those eyes ...judging me...and I like it! Lol. Congrats on another wicked score.
Great cover, I think I prefer the original set over the final piece on this one. I like how Dani did the headshot hologram design. Congrats on this find.
“I've seen things you people wouldn't believe"
Smokin' piece! Love it!
Is love so fragile give my heart for Rachel?
Shatter your worlds, impossible to follow
You're saying I'm Tyrell, I try for Dani
I search only for dreaming like a sheep
I have my own Gaff
And I am stronger than you know
But I’m Batty with feelings
When you Deckard to my house
That you won't be walking out as Ford
Still I carry Pris feeling
When you Deckard to my house
That you won't be walking out as Walsh
Runners forever, Blade to Blade
My Dani, ink fountains
Tears in the rain
I need you to Batty we need Replicate
Give to me your cover
Run from me my Blade
Dani does such stunning pieces. Congrats.
Agreed, Harry. It was actuallyt one of your Dani covers that made me first take notice and look into her work more! Thanks, man, and all, for the comments!
Very cool looking cover! Congrats!!!
Wow! This is like steranko and miller had a baby and that baby made this cover
Didn't even think of that but I totally see it now! Some nice company for Dani to be with there. Thanks, man!
Dani was brilliant on this series. Just a tremendous find!
Love the tone of this piece! The Noir comes through beautifully.
Fantastic!
I love the gritty noir feel. Congrats!
Absolutely gorgeous cover!
There you go! Dani's great. Awesome acquisition KG!
Fantastic Cover! Thanks for sharing
I like how her face is integrated in the rest of the drawing.
Beautifully executed linework in this one and her face is hauntingly beautiful. Definitely a keeper!
A striking mix between Miller and Risso, but still very unique. I love this image and the movie is one of my favorites ever!
As others have said, gives me a strong Miller vibe in the best way. Excellent piece!
I don't know anything about the movie other than some of the familiar imagery, but this is just an amazingly well done illustration. I love so much of the work of seen from Dani. It seems every time someone posts another piece by her, I likie it even more than the previous one and this is no exception. Cool beans, man!
Very evocative of the world of the films!
Nice! She does awesome stuff!
absoulutely beautiful. Dani really is perfect for Blade Runner
Great cover, with a nice composition. Definitely has the Miller sin city vibes to it. Congrats!
Very captivating. Love this!
It looks like Frank Miller and Tim Sale influenced the tone of this cover. Very nice!
So looking at all the comments up to now, we've got Miller, Steranko, Risso, and Sale cited...I can see 'em all :) Thanks for the add, Paul!
I have always really like Dani's style. Her abstract lines come together so well to create something greater than the sum of its parts. That's on full display here and it makes for a really nice cover. Good eye KG!
Great way to describe it, man. The interweaving of the imagery to get THIS...much easier said than done. Thanks, man!
Blade Runner is and it will be the quintaessence of any sci-fi topic! Iconic! Superb example of that myth!
Wonderful. Loads of texture.
This would've made a great back cover of a Prince album. The imagery of the girl definitely. My man with the smoking gun... not so sure. If only Prince had made a soundtrack for a James Bond movie. Sorry, this is what you get when a CAF boardie types well past his bedtime. Great piece K.
Ha! I'm all about some unique OA perspectives due to tiredness...can result in some interesting nuggets...like this insight! Lol, can totally see what you mean by "back cover of a Prince album". RIP, that cat was TOO talented. I mean if he could do the Batman soundtrack...James Bond?! No problem :) Thank for the add, Michael, and glad you like!
Such a unique cover. Congrats
Berkley was magnificent in this. The way she twisted and twirled. Mesmerizing. Slater should of hung on to her.
Wow this one is stunning. Love how she uses line and solid black /vs white negative space. This one really stands out with all the patterns
Fabulous cover to Blade Runner Origins by the amazing Dani! I love the way Dani's black and white chairoscuro technique is combined with a movie-poster like design, with a large iillustration of a face accompanied by a scene from the story. I am reminded of movie posters and the work of artists like Drew Struzan and Bob Peak. I love Dani's drawing of the female replicant staring out at us while the detective pursues her down below. I thought it worked well in black and white but also looked great when color was added. In fact, for once I think the color version actually plussed the B&W orginal! Great pick-up!
How did I miss this one!!!!!???? I absolutely love Dani's art and need to greb something at some point. Who reps her now that Cadence is disbanded?
Outstanding piece brother. A cult classic. Congratulations.
Dani always brings so much style. Wow. What a great example of simple and complex blending perfectly together.
A real gem my friend - congratulations !!
Great piece. Love me just about everything moody Bladerunner. Not a single block of classic two-line crosshatch soldiers marching in it. Pieces like this make me appreciate single hatch skill.
Dani might have the most singular and distinctive style of any comic artist right now, and this work couldn't be a better example of why she's the best.
Dani always impressed with her use of negative space.
I enjoyed looking at this one on your Show & Tell show. Of course, I see the Miller influence, but my first thought when I saw the design elements she incorporated was Steranko (although, she's much looser than him). The scratchy inks on the blade runner figure remind me of Denys Cowan. It has a lot of different elements for the eye to focus on.
Yup, I can see Steranko from a design standpoint. And hadn't thought Cowan but do see that now that you mention. Cool how we can all see different things when it comes to this stuff! And I agree regarding all of the different elements here. I think I mentioned that was one of the draws in my picking it up.
Thanks for the add, Timothy, and thanks for making it to the Show & Tell show last night - was a good time, and time really did fly!
Great piece, same vibes as the movie
Dani has some of the best cover designs that I've seen in recent years. This is quite stunning.
