I didn't know Don Newton worked for Charlton. Your pages are beautiful, then again, it's Don Freakin' Newton!. I have to get some of these to read.

His Phantom artwork you can see a little more reference to qhich comics he wokred on here: https://www.phantomwiki.org/index.php/Don_Newton
Interestingly, another collector friend of mine owns a letter from Lee Falk, creator of the Phantom admiring Don Newtons style of his character.
The letter can be seen here if you're a member of the group on facebook called Phantom collector: https://www.facebook.com/groups/phancollector/posts/859373350801961

The effort put into the dogs in the first panel is a phenomenal start to the page, which is excellent! Big congrats!

That mad scientist lab is pretty awesome in contrast to the old stone walls! Newton's art is rich with detail and shadows for an old dark cavernous and cold castle setting. That look also extends to the character's faces.
