Description

Buster needs to talk to his girlfriend Jessie, but she'd rather race as they ride their bikes.

Buster uses the power of the Creation Matrix, secretly passed onto him by Optimus Prime, to break the chain link on Jessie's bike to have an excuse to stop and talk.

A memorable page from a book I got in one of those Comic Book 3-packs from Toys R' Us back in the day.

for a second there I was really concerned for Jessie's right foot, PTSD whenever I see a leg/foot limb in danger these days I suppose. I'm hoping this conversation worked out well for Buster

Reminds me of the time I used to bike as a kid!

The thing is that chains didn't typically break. In the late 70's into the early 80's, the real danger was that your bell bottoms would be flapping in the wind and they'd sometimes get caught in the chain, throwing you over the handlebars head first. Man, those were some good times.... Btw, I love that even a highly stylized artist like Trimpe gets almost completely buried by Palmer's strong inks!
