I have been a big fan of Jesús Merino's art since the 90's, and when I met him at a convention back in 2012, I was delighted to learn that he's a super nice guy in addition to being incredibly talented. This year when Jesús appeared at HeroesCon, 4C Comics was arranging commissions for him, and I was lucky enough to get one! When I was thinking of an opponent for Jesús to draw for a "Karate Kid vs." commission, the original White Tiger, Hector Ayala, came to mind. Hector is a creation of the late, great George Pérez, and I really enjoyed his stories in The Deadly Hands of Kung Fu. Jesús was a collaborator with George, so I was hoping he'd be up for drawing Hector, and he was! And look at this beauty! First off, I love the grey tones! I also love the poses, and just how fantastic the characters
