Description
This is like a quadruple-whammy.

Gene Colan!
Joe Sinnott!
Splash Page!
First Battle Page _ever_ for the Falcon!

The Falcon is seen here attacking the Exiles with Steve (in the Red Skull's body thanks to cosmic cube shenanigans).

This is the first page in comics where Falcon goes into battle! His 2nd appearance overall.

It's extra-special because it comes from the collection of a good friend.

Published October 1969.

When Colan designs a splash, expect fireworks of action and flow of movement!  A Marvel masterpiece when the silver age came into maturity!

I remember reading this issue when I was a young collector, and seeing it now still triggers that feeling in my belly that excites me most about comics.

An incredible Colan/Sinnott masterpiece! This historic splash is breathtaking and it was sad to let it go. But I'm so happy it went to a good friend's home!
