I remember when Kid Eternity came out as one of the early Vertigo series, and being completely weirded out by it. However, the covers by Sean Philips were amazing. Happy that I finally managed to snag one.

Wow, I'd forgotten that Sean Phillips had done mixed media collage work like this, as I'm so used to seeing the lark, shadow heavy pen & ink work he's been doing for so long, which I love. But this is really cool and if the publisher wants the cover to stand out among all the other comics on the stands, this piece succeeded in doing that!

Nice work of design! It adds a level of sophistication as comics blurred into art for magazines. It's done to bring a high level of anxiety with the chatter from behind and the agonized scream to try and hold the voices out!

I never read the title but this cover is exactly the kind of art that would have compelled me to pick it up. This art encapsulate both less is more AND less is a bore. Congrats!
