Purchased from Private Collection Illinois. Previous owner also had original Nagel canvases and more.
Created while working for Playboy. Exhibited in Los Angeles and Chicago. Image is of late Model/Actress/Raider's Cheerleader Linda Sobek who was brutally assaulted and murdered in 1995 by a photographer.
This piece has been one I have been HUNTING DOWN since I am an LA Native and Linda Sobek is one of my favorite of Dennis' models. Being a native to LA, I was studying Journalism and just 24 in college here when she brutally killed. I felt a huge connection to her. The story was everywhere. This canvas was already in the hands of the previous collector who never connected the story with the model. I am so happy to have discovered this beautiful image and make her mine. Dennis also made a couple other images of this beautiful woman. One he perfectly called Linda. Again this was well before her murder.
I run PatrickNagelArts.com and I am the a huge Nagel and Mukai fan, collector, buyer and seller too. Contact me to learn more info about Patrick Nagel or Mukai. I BUY MUKAI! ALSO EMAIL:
