Description

I never looked this series up until I came across this splash page. I actually found the concept to be really cool, it basically takes place in the Hellraiser universe and is about a group of people imbued with some powers that interact and engage with the forces, demons and lore of Hellraiser. As a fan of the Hellraiser movies this was right up my alley.

The other parts of the piece itself that caught my eye is that it depicts real historical characters (Mark Antony and Cleopatra) and Gene Colan added his dynamic forms to them in the forefront that also has some great inking on Cleopatra that you can tell followed Gene Colan's pencil style. Then the other thing that caught my eye is the girl on the right who just has a very classic and distinctive Gene Colan face. Overall, just thought it was cool.

Lastly, I just have a soft spot for anything in the Marvel Epic Comics line.
