Jim Lee’s style with wolverine has made his Wolverine imagery some of the most coveted in the hobby..and major images claws out are rarer than the hand surviving an encounter with Wolverine in an alleyway of Madripoor

As a collector imparting some of my path to this piece I’ll share this...Previously, I made many deep stabs and slashes at some key Jim Lee Wolverine art and each time I was thwarted... and yet my will grew with each battle....and when this Iconic image of our hero came available my approach was... Fight to the death... and in the end my opponents realized if they stayed in battle with me they would end up being skewered. The look in my eyes was simply too ferocious for them to stay in the fight if they wanted out alive. Sometimes that is exactly what it takes...I left the Alley still breathing..Victorious and with a Jim Lee Wolverine cover in hand...with no Hand left to oppose me..

We also get a rare scenario with this piece that it is both Jim Lee Pencils and Jim Lee inks.

What always to me makes for a great piece of work is when looking upon it we know exactly what that character is about.. and THAT is what this piece says to me... THIS IS..THE WOLVERINE!

Outsanding! Love the mostly shadowed figure, in the alley, with claws gleaming! One of Lee's best IMO and that's saying something. Big congrats!
