Description

Watching the writhing bodies under the throbbing lights at a nightclub, Detective Farkas drowns his sorrows and remembers making love with his former girlfriend Greta.

(Noir voice-over)“I was in it up to my neck, but I didn't know it yet. This horror story had started in the worst way: That is, by seeing a ghost again. I live with the ghosts of my past, or at least I try. Greta Szabo, a medical examiner from Budapest, is one of them. Even though I managed to forget some, and leave many on the street, I never could manage that with Greta.”

“That picture again, handsome?” (Farkas shows a photo of a girl to the waitress.)

“Do you recognize it?”

“No, but you've been showing it to everyone for three nights straight.”

“And I'll keep going until someone tells me something useful, honey.”

“Or until they kick you out!”

“So what else is new!”

“Well, at least tonight you're not the only weirdo. I'm going to serve that other dark stud and his friends. You think about what could happen to you, stubborn guy. I'm telling you this as a friend.”

“Mmm...”

The opening shot on both pages do act like they connect as a whole to show us the whole dance floor.  Some nice eye candy on the dance floor to show us a lifestyle so different than Farkas' world of crime and hard drinking.
