Captain America #350 Page 59 John Byrne (1989) The Red Skull & Doctor Doom!

Most Cap fans lament John Byrne's run on the series in 1980 only lasted nine issues. He never got to tell his Red Skull story he and Roger Stern had planned. But in 1989, Byrne returned for a 10 page story in the 350th anniversary issue, and fans got to see him take on Red Skull's origin and history! This page recaps the Skull facing Cap and the Falcon in the late 1960s and early 70s. Plus... I finally got a Byrne Dr. Doom!
