Phenomenal Thor page by the great John Buscema. Gorgeous scenes of Loki appearing before the all-father Odin to hear what a prophetess has to say about the future. I love how Buscema drew Loki here, he really is able to convey Loki's total disdain for his father and the prophesy. By this time in his career, Buscema was at the peak of his artistic power and had replaced Kirby on the Thor title. And wow, was he deserving!  Love the look of Odin as he silences Loki and asks to hear the prophesy. My favorite panel of the page is the fourth, the twisted figure of the old witch stirring her pot as she predicts "Ragnarok!"  What a killer panel! But the whole page is terrific and a great example of John Buscema at the peak of his skills. Marvelous pick-up, congrats!

What a great cast of characters and I'm still shaking in my pants at the word "RAGNAROK"!

Stark inking from Verpoorten give the page brings a real focus to the theatrical expressions and poses. Nice page!

Congrats, nice page from this this glorious issue 200 , with a truly mean Loki and a frightful panel four with the really ugly Norn Witch, but of course regal Odin rules this page with the fine panel three face panel ! Look up my own page from the very same issue for more fun with Loki invading Asgard fto start Ragnarok, the end of the mighty Aesir gods and the world :)
