A real feast for the eyes. WOW!
Tremendous!
Wow Bill. Wow.
I love seeing a Philip Tan piece in your amazing colection. To me he is such a rising star, and whatever he draws is just phenomenal. And leave it to you to get one of the best possible examples. Look at all those characters, and all that beautiful detail you can totally get lost in! It's the kind of piece you frame, hang up on your wall, and spend part of each day just gazing at it. Another amazing acquisition, Bill, congrats!!
A real stunner - the comprehensive composition, rendering, and textures combine perfectly and this is a piece that just keeps on giving. Congrats Bill!
Wow! So many characters, such great detail, there is simply so much to like about this one. I think my favorite feature might be the faces reflected in the blade of the sword though. Reflections as a means to pack in even more awesomeness is always a fun device and its employed well here. Congrats!
love this
This is stunning!!
Wow, that's what you call character-packed, congrats !
Underboob and Orphan Maker!!!! Man, always a pleasure! What a great summing up of one of the best X-Men storylines in a single image!
Fantastically, incredible piece with lots of detail. I love how wolverine is the center!
This is a masterwork! So much ink and detail. Best Philip Tan example that exists in my opinion. Congrats Bill!
So much to take in. The New Mutants sword is excellent!
Super Fantastic piece, wow!
An amazing poster piece, huge congrats. Lots to look at and love here.
Been a fan of Philip's since I started noticing his Uncanny X-Men covers back in 2003. I knew he had some serious skills, but this is on another level. Must be a sight to behold in person. Makes me proud to be Filipino (even if I can't draw a lick). Congrats Bill.
This is absolutely beautiful, Bill!
Gorgeous detailing!
DAMN GOOD!!!
The details are mesmerizing! Congrats Bill. 8 )
Very impresive (if quite busy) piece. It seems to me that Tan made sure he paid attention to his artistic Filipino heritage on that one.
Steeped in X-Men lore with an all emcompassing cast! Phillip Tan makes this fully immersive with the piece immersed in inks!
Holy Heck! That's an incredible tour-de-force Tan example. Wow! So much to look at. So much to fawn over. So much detail goodness. Congrats Bill.
Another Johnson extravaganza! This is perfect.
incredible piece my friend - congratulations !!!
Wow! What a feast for the eyes.
Amazing!
This is truly incredible!! Philip is the master of the cross hatch. I cannot believe how much work he put into this!!
One of Philip's best for sure! One very impressive piece!!!
Potpourri of madness courtesy of modern great Tan!
Wow! Look at this detail! I could stare at this forever and still not see all the detail
Wow! The detail is tremendous!
Tan really outdid himself here. What a feast for the eyes! Congratulations!
Is Masterpiece too strong a word to discribe this? I think not.
Great piece. Congrats!
I know this will surprise anyone readin this, but my favourite part of this piece is how he illustrated the character in the top left corner, whose name I believe was N'Astirh, or something like that. Just beautifully lighted and rendered. That aside, the entire piece as a whole is incredibly impressive and I can only imagine how much more impressive it looks in person, given the size it was drawn at!
Philip Tan is so darn talented. There is so much to look at on this piece. Love it!
Wow!! There is a lot going on in this! Such a cool image!
WOW Bill, what a fantastic piece of artwork you have here!!
Wow pretty amazing piece! The detail is amazing; love it! Major congrats Bill!
Sinister and his marauders, Pryor and inferno....so much gorgeous details and characters. A feast for the eyes
Jam packed! I keep finding new characters. I could get lost in this one
I have to say I must admire your ability to digging those treasures... anywhere :D
impressive!
Incredible artistic tour de force. And a feast for the eyes, with so many outstanding details that only appear after repeated viewings. That is one piece that grabs you with power, but never lets you go. Just like the Inferno arc, by the way!
So good bill!
Holy smokes, that's amazing! Wonderful to see that the ultra-detailed approach has been passed to the next generation.
Wow, what a feast for the eyes - such a deliciously detailed, and perfectly illustrated perfect Example of peak Tan artwork. I am sure you could get lost looking at this on the wall. Congrats!
I'll be honest: I had stopped reading the X-titles by this point in favor of other material. However, this piece makes me want to read this storyline almost four decades after it was published. Tan's work looks a bit more refined and polished here than it typically does and that level of attention and detail befits what looks like an epic part of X-lore.
It's naht a toomah!!!
Many adjectives are needed to be fair with this SUPER MEGA MASSIVE piece of ART! I find it magnetic. I could spend hours looking for details! It is so difficult and probably unfair to choose juat one detail or character! But... if I have to choose one I definetely vote for the Wolverine amongst them all. Hats off my friend.
Wow, detail to the Xth degree!
This is insane. To have Philip Tan with this crazy level of detail on this piece. I'm incredibly jealous and congrats sir.
Incredible piece! This must be impressive to see in person given all the characters and details. Really great pickup congrats and thanks for sharing.
Incredible and dense...so much to take in!
Incredible piece!
Hellfire hott!
Philip Tan's recent work has all been very impressive in terms of linework and detail, and this is taking it to another level (or three). Really dig all the lighting/rendering he did here against the black background (especially in the bottom third), and I'm sure it looks phenomenal in person. Congrats!
Stellar... i love it!!
Truly a stunning feast for the eyes/senses, what an amazing piece, congrats Bill!
P.S. I bought that Claremont package with this poster included back when it was coming out, great stuff!
Spectacular piece - congrats.
Wow! Super cool and unique piece. Congrats on adding this to your collection!
Just an incredible poster. No wasted space here. I could come back to this piece several times and find something new to look at each time. Must be even more impressive in person.
Pure delicious insanity!
Man,I really like this guys work and I'm proud to own some of his original pieces myself !
Outstanding image, wow! So many characters, exquisitely illustrated, and an unreal composition. Plus Inferno is one of my top 3 favorite X-Men arcs of all time...what a way to bring the casssic story to today. Love how you have those 3 bads in the corners, and what a great face on Illyana...and the reflections in her Souldsword is a great touch. Big congrats, Bill!
The perfect image of my all time favorite "Inferno" Just beautiful!
Every time I pass by your gallery, I am always fascinated by your new purchases :)
the sinister charm of this illustration perfectly depicts the sensation I feel when investigating your collection, a mixture of light and darkness that increases their strength.
another gem in your CAF, great congratulations Bill
When Philip is on, there aren't many who are better. This is fantastic!
this is just beyond beautiful.
