SuperBatober 2024 - Landmark (Mike Maihack)

For 2024, Mike Maihack continued with the watercolor sketches that he's done the past few years for SuperBatober (using the Inktober prompts), but it seemed like it might also be the last year he does SuperBatober, so I wanted to make sure I picked up something this year, especially after missing out last year (I've apparently been alternating years).

Even though Mike kept it simple(ish) this year, there were a handful that stood out, and I'm glad I was able to pick up two pieces. Here is the final piece of the month/year, featuring Batgirl, Supergirl, and Streaky. They're leaving their little hideaway to head towards the Daily Planet, and of course, they engraved the tree with their logos before heading off. If this is the last SuperBatober piece that Mike does, it's a great one to close out on and definitely has that "series finale" vibe as our heroes race off to their next adventure (and there will always be more adventures, even if we don't see them).
