Shocking double page splash! Blackest Night was a sprawling epic and this dps is emblematic of what the heroes had to face in this saga.
Indeed! Always appreciate the insightful comments Marcus. Happy Holidays!
Impressive dps
Thank you! Happy Holidays
Wow that is awesome! Congrats!
Thanks so much Danny! Happy Holidays!
I too was really blown away when I read this. Like yourself, I was into zombies and was telling everyone I knew to read The Walking Dead. When I read this and saw them mixing the horror genre with superheroes, especially with the excellent artwork throughout the story, I was hooked. Landing this DPS is the coup de grace! Merry Christmas, Dave!
Thank you so much Ruben! Absolutely agree! One of the major books that got me hooked on comics. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Zombies as far as the eye can see!
haha yes indeed; really appreciate all the comments you leave Rick! Happy holidays!
epic DPS from a modern classic run! really nice. Congrats Dave!
Thanks so much Kavi! Always appreciate the comment; Happy holidays!
Oh man, prime example from a great series! The undead have arisen, and are closing in! Images like this are what the DPS was made for. Congrats!
Thanks so much! Happy Holidays.
Oh wow! This really is a perfect representative example from this fun creepy event! Congrats on grabbing this one!
Thanks Carl! Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to you too! Here's to a happy, healthy & comic art filled year!!
Thanks ML! Really enjoyed you presenting your amazing Kingdom Come piece too! Major congrats again as well!
Wow! What a scary cool Double Page spread! It really brings to life what it must have been like for the Flash to turn around and face all these zombified characters coming after you! Amazing piece of art with all the different characters that have been turned into zombies. Ivan Reis and Oclair Albert did an amazing job with this DPS. It's not easy to balance a scene with so many characters and make it believable. Ivan and Oclair did a great job with this splash and the whole series. Glad to see a coillector who appreciates it, got it. Absolutely stunnning pick-up, congrats!
Now this is what you call a DPS!
Many thanks Riz!
Reis and Albert really conveyed quite effectively the creepiness that should be inherent in a scene where multiple superheroes and villains return from the dead to cause chaos. In the hands of other artists, this scene could have come across looking silly. There's nothing silly looking here.
Thank you, I enjoyed reading your insightful comment! Totally agree with how the artist tapped into the creepiness of this scene.
