Marvel Holiday Special 1992 p. 36 - Santa Punisher

From Marvel’s 1992 Holiday Special, which has a 1993 cover date because comic books like to confuse people when it comes to dates.

I always loved a good holiday-themed anthology book, and Marvel put out some of the best of them in the 1990s. Here we have the Punisher dressed as Santa Claus to get some bad guys, because even Frank Castle can catch the Christmas spirit.

This is the first piece of art that I’ve posted to CAF that I wasn’t trying to sell since last year’s holiday post. I had decided a year ago that I’d wait until my major overhaul of my OA collection was complete before once again posting to CAF regularly and commenting on other people’s posts. I thought that would take a few months at most, but here we are a full year later and it’s not quite done. I had instituted new personal rules of collecting that would lead me to sell off those pieces that didn’t fit within those rules, leading me to sell over 800 pieces over the last two years. I think the selling aspect is mostly done, although I’ll have a few more I’ll offer over the next few weeks.

One thing that hasn’t changed since my 2023 holiday post - my kids have brought what seems to be the flu home once again. I haven’t gotten sick yet, but the holiday season still has some time to go, so we shall see what happens. In the meantime, I hope everyone who has read this far down this post has a great 2025!
