Description

(Jay Ward Productions) The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle (known as "Rocky and His Friends" in 1959) is a classic of television animation. It's one of the 1st 10 animated series produced specifically for television, and often lands on lists of the top ten animated shows of all time.

As anyone who collects animation knows, production cels from Rocky and Bullwinkle are exceptionally hard to find - most were destroyed unfortunately. Jay Ward sold what they called "scene cels" for years, but these were produced specifically for sale to collectors, and never appeared under the camera for the show.

This is a true production key master setup with it's hand painted background, having appeared in a Fractured Fairy Tales segment "Beauty and the Beast" (Season 1 Episode 6 segment #27, first airdate December 24, 1959). Alas, there's no sign of Rocky or Bullwinkle, but it's great to have an original setup from the show nonetheless!

I like these! Thy run these segements a lot and you can't tell if they just reused the same one over and over.

Jay Ward Flower Power. This is really cool, even if it does not contain moose or squirrel.
