Tokyo Ghost # 9 page 11

Rick Remender and Sean Murphy’s Tokyo Ghost is a really striking book. Very unique modern cyber punk tale with compelling themes, settings and characters. Sean’s art and Ricks writing are a world building match made in heaven.

Love this page with the heroine, Debbie coming back to challenge the villain, Davey Trauma (love that name) after he’s beaten the good guys over and over. It’s got a classic feel, like Gandalf the White coming to save the day!

Sean Murphys art is really something, it’s really tight in some places and loose and scribble in others. I read somewhere he uses his thumbprint to add texture in the inks which is cool to see. Several great panels and overall excellently constructed page.
