DescriptionA color comp for "Silverado" (1985) by Rick Farrell. Farrell was mostly known for his poster concept work ("back to the future", "the goonies"...) but also got to paint some amazing final artworks ("Transylvania 6-5000").This is a color comp that he did while working on the campaign of the Lawrence Kasdan western featuring a spectacular cast that included Kevin Costner, Kevin Kline, Scott Glenn, Danny Glover, Jeff Goldblum, Brian Dennehy, John Cleese, Rosanna Arquette and Linda Hunt. Graphite pencil drawing on a thin gesso ground, then color and texture added by thin glazes of acrylic and airbrush, and then detailed with prismacolor pencils. Social/Sharing |
