Love the alternating silhouette panels.  Looks even better without the colors and word balloons.

Nice! Thanks, man. I used to like flipping through it back in the 80's, but it's one of the popular indy titles that I never actually read.

Matchstick's laundry must be easy, as he only wears one shirt.

We're always in for a treat when Matt breaks out his "shadow puppet theater" chops: his storytelling is always so clear and immediate (especially in Mage), and refining the main images he's after down into simple shapes is such a strength of Matt's...  I -love- how he alternates fully rendered images of Kevin with the monochromatic family shots in the second two tiers; it's just so visually appealing  A fantastic sense of balance and style here, showing that it wasn't just Kevin who was at the peak of his powers at the start of the third Mage arc: Matt's evolution as an artist and storyteller was at its peak and firing on all cylinders, too.  Great page, Rick - congrats!
